I saw this post on Twitter today of this guy bragging about a children's book he "published" in a weekend. Except he didn't. He put a prompt into an AI writing machine that wrote the book for him. Then he used MidJourney to create a series of images that "had a cohesive style" and published it on Amazon. All in the matter of a weekend. It takes months, sometimes years of work and planning to create a concept, write the book, and, if you're illustrating it yourself, design characters, environments, and all the little details that brings life into that idea. I know this because I tried. Many years ago I attempted to write and illustrate my own children's book. I worked on it for half a year before shelving it, with the hopes to return to it someday. And this guy was just in a "silly goofy mood :P" and got it done in a weekend. It makes me mad. Livid.
